Our Story

Government software and NGO data platforms in Ghana — since 2014.

TechMerge is an Accra software company that has built government software and NGO data platforms in Ghana for over a decade. Eleven years of building. Not one broken promise.

TechMerge was founded in 2014 in Accra by a team of engineers who trained at the Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology — one of Africa's most selective tech programmes. The founding thesis was simple: African institutions needed software built by people who understood African infrastructure constraints, not consultants parachuted in from abroad.

That thesis has held. Over a decade, we have built data collection platforms for government, survey systems that run on feature phones, job-matching services for blue-collar workers, GPS-enabled mobility apps, and cloud platforms for financial SMEs. Our clients have included the Ghana Education Service, one of West Africa's largest institutions.

We don't chase trends. We build things that work in the morning, at noon, and when the Wi-Fi goes down. That is what a decade in the African tech landscape teaches you — and it is what sets us apart from every agency that opened its doors after 2020.

Agile Methodology
Every project runs on test-driven development with continuous client involvement and quality gates at each sprint.
African Context First
We design for low-bandwidth, multilingual, and mobile-first realities. Not as an afterthought — from line one of code.
Data-Driven Architecture
We model custom solutions for micro and macro data requirements, with post-deployment support built in.
Institutional Grade
We operate at the scale of governments and national platforms. Not just startups — institutions with zero tolerance for failure.
